Baddest - Ft. Various Artistes (Nc Dread, Wyre, Shatta Wale, Major E, Ak Songstress, Chibwa, Peter Miles, Mavluz, General Pype)
Baddest is easily the biggest tune ever to come out of Africa. It was produced by African dancehall powerhouse, Bashment Music SA and their ever present brilliant partner, DJ Wallass on the BAD TALK Riddim.
The tune features nine artists from seven countries voicing on one track. The idea of the collaboration is not new, what is different is that all the artists are featured on one track, rather than each voicing on a single track of the riddim. It was a crazy stunt to pull off, considering the logistics and time it takes, yet it was executed with precision and passion.
“This is our biggest production to date. From the concept, putting together such an elite band of artists, working with our sound and vocal engineer to piece it together..madness!”
Explains Xuga, producer at Bashment Music SA spearheading the project.
“One of my most exciting and explosive projects of 2017.” – LaSoul, Sound Engineer who worked on the project.
