Matic slams Serbia team-mates and threatens to quit
Serbia star Nemanja Matic has threatened to quit
international duty, citing the â€œunacceptable
attitudeâ€ of his team-mates.
Chelsea enforcer Matic featured for Serbia on
Friday night as they were hammered 4-1 by the
Czech Republic in a friendly in Ostrava â€“ their
seventh loss in the last 11 matches.

Serbia failed to qualify for Euro 2016 â€“ the third

and Matic says he will quit the national team â€œif
things donâ€™t changeâ€.
â€œI always try to lead by example but some people
donâ€™t want to see that,â€ the 27-year-old
midfielder told Serbian media.
â€œThe attitude of some players is unacceptable,
not just on the pitch but off it too, and it was
obvious from the moment we got together on
â€œI told our coach [Radovan Curcic] there is no
point in me carrying on with the national team if
things donâ€™t change.
â€œIâ€™d really like to know whether some of my
team-mates apply the same poor working ethic at
