Soldiers arrest alleged Boko Haram allies in Maiduguri
Usman said Maina had been making useful statements, which led to the arrest of the three suspected collaborators in Maiduguri.
He gave the names of those arrested as Jikana Alhaji Goni, 29; Alhaji Musa Modu, 37; and Alhaji Abaâ€™ana Na Sule aged 40, all of Hausari Ward, Maiduguri.
He said the trio were being interrogated by the military.
The Army spokesman added, â€œPlease, recall that a Boko Haram financier, fundraiser and stimulant supplier, Mohammed Maina, was arrested by troops of 21 Brigade yesterday.
â€œThe arrested terrorist has been making very useful statements and giving more insights in the activities of the terrorists and their collaborators.
â€œThis has been yielding positive results and in a follow-up today, three collaborators: Jikana Alhaji Goni, aged 29; Alhaji Musa Alhaji Modu, 37; and Alhaji Abaâ€™ana Na Alhaji Sule 40, all of Hausari Ward Maiduguri, were arrested and are being interrogated.â€
