Young Nigerian Lawyer Shares His Falling & Rising Story
So inspiring. This is so sweet considering he is 26 and trying to let other young Nigerians know that when you fail, it’s not the end, but only a temporary defeat! His story;
I can never forget the gravity of sorrow and agony I faced during the last quarter of 2016….I don't want to write a long essay but I will just summarize it…
**I FAILED the Law School EXAM...A WEEK to MY BIRTHDAY!
**over 600k was stolen from my account ON MY BIRTHDAY!
***One of my staffs was abducted ON MY BIRTHDAY!
**In the middle of this ruthless crisis...I was harassed by Police Men ON MY BIRTHDAY!
In short, I tagged my 25th Birthday “Black Birthday” LOL
I was devastated...I Broken but I had Hoped in myself!
I re-wrote the exam, with a mixed feeling of fear and hope.
And I PASSED!
Now I will be called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.
I FAILED at law school, I failed as Business last year...but I KNEW that in as much as I have the courage to continue, I AM NOT A FAILURE.
What most “average” people see as “failure” is actually temporary defeats, so never grief if you are not “there” yet, just summon the courage to believe you’ll reach “there”.
Take plans, take massive action and analyze yourself to know your strength or weakness, trust me, you will come out better and stronger.
I want to thank my sweet mother or never stop believing in me.
Thanks to my family for always supporting me.
Thanks to all my business mentors for being there for me when i need them/
My close friends for always being there for me.
And everyone who made me what I am today in one way or the other!
P.S: I’m now a lawyer, don’t mess with me LOL
P.SS: EDS and Co I am coming for you all :D
